Gravitational Conflict Syndrome is a health condition where living organisms get sick from a planet's gravity. Living organisms evolve under very specific conditions and one condition is gravity. When the body is 1) not built for quickly adapting to a new gravity and 2) suddenly has to deal with a new gravity for a long period of time, this can cause health issues. These issues are especially evident in the cardiovascular system.
History
HumansA common name for GCS among humans is 'Martian Sickness' because the first time they encountered this issue is after the first mass exodus from Earth to Mars. After a couple years of Mars colonization, Mars faced a health crisis involving GCS. Humans were built for Earth's 1g and not Mars' 0.35g.
SimiredsThere are multiple habitable planets in the Birshenja-Dushrol System that Simireds were able to explore. When Simireds began space exploration within their star system, they noticed the same issue from every single habitable planet.
To combat GCS, Simireds developed Gravitational Conflict Prevention Containers (GCPC). Most GCPCs are transportable bunkers but there are also mobile GCPCs that are capable of navigating terrain.
